Our stay in the Queen Room at the Ashburn Hotel was a delightful experience. We found the room to be surprisingly spacious, especially when compared to the typical room sizes in London. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the magnificent bed; it was absolutely fabulous, providing a restful night's sleep. The room was very clean, although it's worth noting that, as an older building, some areas are showing signs of wear and could benefit from a bit of reconditioning. The location of the Ashburn Hotel couldn't have been better. Just a short 4-minute walk from the Gloucester Road tube station, it was extremely convenient for exploring the city. The hotel's staff deserves a special mention; they were not only friendly but also incredibly accommodating and polite, making us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast offered at the hotel was quite satisfactory. In particular, the full English breakfast stood out as a delicious and hearty way to start the day. All in all, I would not hesitate to book a room at the Ashburn Hotel again. Our time there was lovely, and the convenient location, welcoming staff, and comfortable room made for a memorable stay. We stayed in room 703, and the only suggestion would be to address the toilet. The cistern took quite a long time to refill, but aside from this minor issue, everything in the room functioned as it should. We look forward to returning for another visit and would recommend the Ashburn Hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and well-located stay in London.

This is the third or fourth time here over the past decade or so, so obviously we have no major problems with this hotel, only some cautionary notes. Location couldn’t be better, with easy access to the tube and the “74” bus to downtown, shopping and restaurants nearby. Note that with the number of hotels nearby, restaurant reservations are recommended. Our room size was reasonable, and the bed comfortable. Limited clothes storage. Location is quiet, given its proximity to a major road, due to excellent soundproofing. Very good lighting throughout. One of my pet peeves is doors that squeak and sinks that don’t hold water; this hotel passed both tests successfully. Wifi was good, although not secure. Fridge worked well. There is a “bigger” TV, but no on-screen program listing, and no streaming services, although the remote indicated that capability. Note that continental breakfast tickets can be purchased at 9.50 GBP per person per day, and they seem to be a reasonable value; however, if on an extended stay, one might want to have breakfast elsewhere occasionally, since the breakfast at the hotel is repetitive.

First, I want to highlight that the hotel is in a fantastic location- close to public transportation (buses and the Tube) as well as restaurants, cafés, and shops, all just a few minutes away. The famous Natural History Museum is less than a 10-minute walk from the hotel, which is also a great option for those planning a visit. The hotel itself is clean, quiet, and interestingly decorated in line with the British monarchy theme. The staff deserves special mention—exceptionally pleasant and kind, always ready to offer advice or have a chat if you enjoy conversation, but also respectful of your space and maintaining a professional distance if they sense you prefer privacy. I’m grateful that they allowed us to leave our luggage after check-out, as our flight was in the late afternoon. All in all, a wholehearted recommendation!

The Ashburn Hotel is an excellent hotel. The staff were warm, friendly, and always willing to help. Thank-you. The continental breakfast was great, and a special shout out to Abdul and the breakfast staff for making our stay so enjoyable. The King room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was spotless. And, housekeeping were great when we asked for an extra blanket. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the Tube station. And, it is close to some great restaurants, museums, and cafés. Thank you Ashburn, we hope to return someday. :)

Room was very clean and good size. Plus we had a walk in closet, which was great as a dressing room. Could open window for air if needed. Wonderful view from window. Continental breakfast was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Location great for National History and V&A museums. Tube station, supermarket & restaurants less than 5 minute walk away. Felt safe walking around local area. Open, well lit. Would recommend to any tourists due to central location.
